It was a turning point in my career when I got my Masters degree from L.I.U. It opened a new door for me in my work. I got a promotion on my diplomatic title (now I am a councilor) and a 7 % salary increase. I was appointed first as Deputy Director of the Economic Department at the Foreign Ministry and then Director of the Department after a few months.

This kind of work is not new to me, considering I have spent 12 years in multilateral work, with 8 spent in NY.

The courses which I studied in LIU's UN Graduate Program were of great value to me. The courses gave me insight and the ability to analyze matters, which have allowed me to take the right courses of action in my work. My work has received the clear appreciation of officials at the Foreign Ministry. I am expecting to be posted very soon to one of our missions somewhere in this vast world. Geneva is among the options.

I am proud of what I have done so far, but I am not completely satisfied because I have to continue my quest for a PhD.
Professor Wilson and all the other respectable professors of LIU and the UN Certificate program were very helpful and encouraging, which has had great effect and clear results in my studies. I shall never forget these people.
